Fewer sends.
Better replies.
Almost every failing cold email programme fails for the same two reasons: the list is wrong and the mail never reaches the inbox. Neither is fixed by writing a better subject line. We build the targeting and the sending infrastructure first, then write sequences worth sending - and we report on meetings, not on volume.
How does your product
actually get bought?
A self-serve tool at $49 a month and a platform sold to a procurement committee need entirely different outbound. The list, the call to action and what counts as success all change. Find your motion first - the sequence follows from it.
Trial signups, not demos
If your product sells itself once someone is inside it, the ask should be the trial, not a call. Shorter sequences, lower friction, and success measured in activated trials rather than meetings booked - because a demo request is the wrong conversion for a self-serve product.
Meetings worth taking
Where the deal needs a conversation, the job is booking calls with people who fit and have a reason to move now. Qualification built into the sequence rather than discovered on the call, so your team's calendar stays worth protecting.
Who uses what you integrate with
The strongest SaaS outbound signal is usually the stack. Companies running a tool you integrate with, complement or replace are a far better list than a job-title filter over an industry, and it gives you a genuine reason for the email to exist.
The half nobody wants to own
Dedicated sending domains, warmed inboxes, SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured properly, volume paced per mailbox and reply rates monitored. The best-written sequence in the world is worth nothing from a domain that lands in spam.
Your emails aren't broken.
Your list is.
Every SaaS founder we talk to says a version of the same thing: "we sent thousands and got nothing." That is almost never a copywriting problem. Here's what's usually underneath - and what a properly built programme does instead.
What's killing the programme
- A scraped list bought by the ten thousand, unverified, with a bounce rate that burns the domain
- Sending from your primary domain, so a spam-trap hit damages the mail your customers rely on
- No SPF, DKIM or DMARC alignment, which is now enough on its own to be filtered
- New inboxes pushed to full volume in week one with no warmup
- Targeting by job title and industry alone, which describes almost nobody specifically
- A first email that opens by describing your funding round and your feature list
- Asking for a 30-minute demo from a stranger who has never heard your company name
- Success measured in emails sent, which is the one metric that rewards making it worse
What we build instead
- A defined ICP built on technographic and firmographic signal, then verified before sending
- Dedicated sending domains, kept entirely separate from your primary business domain
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured and monitored, with deliverability checked continuously
- Inboxes warmed properly and paced per mailbox rather than pushed to a daily maximum
- A reason for the email to exist that a recipient would recognise as specific to them
- Calls to action matched to the motion - trial for product-led, call for sales-led
- Replies routed into your CRM with context, so nothing sits unanswered for two days
- Reporting on positive replies and qualified meetings, with send volume as a footnote
The founders we work with.
Here's what founders say after working with us - unfiltered.
Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.
NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.
They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.
Six systems.
One qualified pipeline.
This is the exact build order for every SaaS outbound programme we take on - whether you sell self-serve or into a procurement committee. Skip any one of these and the rest stops working.
Pricing, scoped to you.

NCMborz vs. the alternatives
You've got options. Here's how we stack up against what most SaaS founders try first.
Here's exactly what you get.
No mystery, no "we'll get back to you." Every stage below ends with something delivered - though outbound has a genuine setup period, because domain warmup takes weeks and cannot be rushed.
Strategy call & access
A 30-minute call to map your ICP, your motion, your deal size and what your best customers had in common. Domain and CRM access requested within 24 hours.
Infrastructure & ICP
Sending domains registered and authenticated, mailboxes provisioned and warmup started. In parallel we analyse closed-won deals and define the targeting signals. Warmup runs on its own clock and we will not shorten it.
Lists, sequences & first sends
Lists built and verified, sequences written and reviewed with you, CRM routing wired up. First sends go out at deliberately low volume while reputation establishes.
Scale what works
Volume increased only as deliverability supports it, segments and messaging tested against each other, and reporting focused on positive replies and qualified meetings.
We get asked these every week.
We sent thousands of emails and got nothing. What went wrong?
Usually one of two things, and neither is the copy. Either the list was wrong - scraped, unverified, or targeted so broadly that no message could be relevant - or the mail never reached the inbox because the domain was unauthenticated, unwarmed, or burned by bounces. Both are diagnosable in the first week. Rewriting subject lines on top of either problem changes nothing, which is why so many programmes fail twice.
Is cold email still effective for SaaS?
It works in narrower conditions than it did five years ago. Inbox filtering is far more aggressive, buyers get more of it, and the tolerance for generic outreach is gone. What still works is genuinely targeted outbound to a well-defined list with a real reason for the email to exist. What no longer works is volume. We will tell you honestly on the call if we think your ICP is too broad or your market too small for it to pay back.
Why do we need separate sending domains?
Because cold outreach carries reputational risk you must not attach to the domain your customers and your billing emails depend on. If a sending domain gets flagged, you want that to be an outreach problem you can replace, not a company-wide email outage. Separate domains are cheap; a damaged primary domain is not.
How long does warmup take?
Two to four weeks before meaningful volume, and it cannot be compressed. New domains and inboxes sending at volume immediately look exactly like what spam filters exist to catch. This is the main reason outbound has a genuine setup period rather than launching in week one, and anyone offering to skip it is offering to burn your domains.
What is technographic targeting?
Targeting by the software a company actually runs rather than by job title and industry. If your product integrates with, complements or replaces a specific tool, companies using that tool are a dramatically better list than "VPs of Engineering at 50-200 person companies" - and it gives your first email a specific, verifiable reason to exist, which is most of what makes cold email work at all.
Should we ask for a demo or a trial?
It depends on your motion, and getting it wrong is a common and expensive mistake. If your product is self-serve and demonstrates its own value once someone is inside, asking a stranger for 30 minutes is far more friction than asking them to try it. If your product needs configuring or explaining, a trial signup is a conversion you cannot follow up properly. Match the ask to how the product actually gets bought.
Is cold email legal?
In most jurisdictions B2B cold email is lawful when done correctly, but the requirements differ meaningfully - CAN-SPAM in the US is permissive about the first contact and strict about opt-outs, GDPR in the EU and UK requires a legitimate-interest basis and clear disclosure, and other markets vary again. We build to honour opt-outs immediately, identify the sender properly, and stay within the rules for the markets you are actually targeting. We are not lawyers, and for high-stakes markets we will tell you to get advice rather than reassure you.
How many meetings should we expect?
We will not give you a number before seeing your ICP, your market size and your offer, and you should treat anyone who does with suspicion. Response rates vary enormously by category, target seniority and how specific the targeting can be. What we will do on the call is tell you whether we think your total addressable list is large enough for outbound to be worth running at all - which is frequently the more important answer.
Do you write the sequences or do we?
We write them, reviewed with you before anything sends. For technical products we will interview whoever knows the problem best, because a cold email that misdescribes a technical buyer's situation is worse than no email - it proves you do not understand their world, to exactly the person you most needed to convince.
What happens when someone replies?
Replies route into your CRM with the full thread and an agreed owner, and the target is a response in hours. Speed matters more here than almost anywhere else: a positive reply is a person who was interested for a moment, and that moment does not last two days. We handle qualification and handover to your team; closing is yours.
How does this work alongside our paid ads?
They reach different people. Paid search captures those already looking, and outbound reaches those who fit your profile but have not started looking. Outbound also gives you something ads cannot - direct evidence of which messages resonate with which segments, in the buyer's own words, from replies. That intelligence usually improves the ad copy too.
What if we're not the right fit?
We will tell you on the call. We turn down outbound work more often than any other service we offer - usually because the addressable list is too small to sustain a programme, the ICP is too broad to write anything specific, or there is no proof yet that the product sells to anyone. Outbound amplifies an existing product-market fit; it does not create one.
What happens on the strategy call?
30 minutes. We look at your ICP, your motion and your current domain setup, tell you whether outbound is genuinely the right channel for your product, and if it is, exactly what we would do in your first 90 days. If we are a fit, we talk pricing. If not, no hard feelings - no follow-up sequence, no pressure.
Let's fill your calendar with qualified meetings.
