Website redesign services for small business
A new look is easy.
Keeping rankings is the job.
Most redesigns are judged on how the new site looks on launch day. The trouble shows up a month later: pages that used to rank are gone, old links land on error pages, and the contact form that worked has been swapped for one nobody fills in. We start from what your current site already earns, keep it, and rebuild everything else around the one thing you want visitors to do.
Find out what works
before you replace it.
Your site may look tired, but it's probably doing a few things right: some pages that rank, links from other sites, a contact page people use. A redesign that starts by finding those keeps them. This is what we check first.
From Search Console, not guesswork
Every page that gets clicks or impressions from Google, listed so none of them quietly disappears in the rebuild.
Addresses other sites use
Pages that other websites, directories and your own profiles link to, each kept or given a permanent redirect.
Forms, calls and bookings
Which pages lead to calls, forms and bookings today, so the new site builds on them instead of starting from zero.
Speed, phones and clarity
Slow pages, layouts that break on a phone and offers that take too long to understand, all fixed in the new build.
Traffic doesn't drop by chance.
It drops for reasons.
When a business loses search traffic after a redesign, it's nearly always one of a handful of causes, and Google's own guide to moving a site covers most of them. This is what we see go wrong, and what we do about it.
What usually goes wrong
- Old pages deleted or moved with no redirect
- Pages that ranked cut to make the menu tidy
- A test-site setting that hides pages from Google, left on
- Domain, platform and design all changed at once
- A new contact form nobody tested on a phone
- Nobody watching the numbers after launch
What we do instead
- A permanent redirect from every changed URL
- Ranking pages kept, merged or improved
- A launch checklist run before and after go-live
- One big change at a time, as Google advises
- Every form and call button tested on a phone
- Search Console and enquiries checked for weeks
The founders we work with.
Here's what founders say after working with us - unfiltered.
Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.
NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.
They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.
Six systems.
Audit, map, rebuild, then watch.
The order a redesign runs in. Nothing is deleted until we know what it earns.
Pricing, scoped to you.
Priced on the size of the site and what has to move. A ten-page site with a contact form is a small job; a site with hundreds of pages, a booking system or a change of platform needs a full URL map and more testing. We agree the scope in writing after looking at your current site.
- Every changed URL mapped and redirected
- Rankings and enquiries checked for weeks after launch
- Scoped to your pages, platform and integrations
- You own the new site, its content and every login

Have you published a redesign case study?
No. None of our published case studies is a redesign, so we won't quote before-and-after numbers here. The audit and URL map we'd prepare for your site are the fairest way to judge us.
Will a website redesign hurt our SEO?
It doesn't have to. Search traffic usually falls after a redesign because pages that ranked were removed or moved without redirects, content was cut, or a staging setting went live. Google says to expect temporary fluctuation while it recrawls a moved site. Plan for those causes and there's no reason the new site should rank worse.
Do we need redirects if the domain stays the same?
Yes, for every address that changes. Google recommends a permanent redirect, such as a 301 or 308, from each old URL to its closest new page, and says permanent redirects don't cause a loss in PageRank. Google suggests keeping them for at least a year; we leave them in place for good.
How long does a website redesign take?
Most small business redesigns take four to six weeks from audit to launch. A new build on its own usually takes three to four; the extra time is the audit, the URL map and the content plan. A platform change or a booking system adds more.
How long until rankings settle after launch?
Google says a small to medium-sized site can take a few weeks for most pages to move, and larger sites take longer. We check Search Console daily for the first two weeks and weekly after that, and fix anything that slips.
Should we change platform or domain at the same time?
Only if there's a reason to. Google's site-move guide advises making big changes, such as a new domain, a new platform and a new layout, one at a time, so you can tell what caused any change in traffic. If the platform must change, we keep URLs the same wherever the new one allows.
How much does a website redesign cost?
Projects start at $1,200, fixed scope, agreed in writing. Most of our website projects run $1,200-$15,000; a large site, a platform change or a booking or payment system sits toward the top.
What happens on the strategy call?
Half an hour on your current site: which pages look like they bring search traffic and enquiries, what a redesign would put at risk, and a rough price.
A new site that keeps its rankings.
30 minutes. We'll look at your current site, show you which pages look like they bring in search traffic, and tell you what a redesign puts at risk and roughly what it costs. Pick a time.
