Ecommerce website maintenance plans
Launch is day one.
Keep the store working.
Stores change underneath you. WooCommerce now asks for PHP 8.3 or later, PHP 8.2 stops getting security fixes at the end of 2026, Magento versions run out of support on fixed dates, and Shopify retired old scripts on its order pages. A maintenance plan keeps up with all of it, so you find out about changes before your customers do.
What does your store
run on?
A WooCommerce store needs its server, WordPress, plugins and theme kept current. A Magento store needs patches and upgrades on Adobe's schedule. A Shopify store needs its theme, apps and tracking kept working as Shopify changes. The plan follows the platform.
Tested, then released
Core, plugin, extension and theme releases tried on a staging copy, and pushed live only once checkout still works.
Patched and restorable
Security fixes applied promptly, backups checked, and a tested way back if something goes wrong.
Before customers notice
Checkout, payments, forms and order emails checked regularly, so a broken step is found by us, not by a lost sale.
The jobs that pile up
New banners, product page tweaks, copy changes and small fixes handled each month, without a new quote every time.
Nothing's broken.
Yet.
Stores without regular care don't usually fail all at once. They drift: an update skipped, a plugin abandoned, a tracking script that quietly stopped. Here's what we usually find.
What builds up without care
- A WooCommerce store on a PHP version near the end of its security support
- Plugins and extensions months behind, some abandoned
- A Magento version past Adobe's end of standard support
- Purchase tracking on Shopify's order pages that stopped when Shopify retired old scripts
- Backups nobody has ever tried to restore
- A list of small changes waiting for a developer
What a plan keeps on top of
- Server, PHP and platform versions kept inside their support windows
- Updates tested on staging before they reach customers
- Magento patches and upgrades scheduled against Adobe's dates
- Tracking moved to supported methods when platforms change
- Backups tested, with a restore plan written down
- Small changes done each month
The founders we work with.
Here's what founders say after working with us - unfiltered.
NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.
Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.
They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.
Six systems.
One store, kept current.
Every plan starts with an audit, so the first month fixes what's overdue before the routine begins.
Pricing, scoped to you.
Priced on the store. A Shopify store with a handful of apps needs less each month than a WooCommerce store with forty plugins or a customized Magento install, so we quote the plan after the starting audit.
- Updates, security, backups and small changes
- Stop whenever you like: no lock-in
- Scoped to your platform, plugins and change list
- You keep full access to the store and the code

What we have written on server-side tracking.
We get asked these every week.
What does an ecommerce maintenance plan include?
Updates to the platform, plugins or extensions and theme, tested before release, security patches, backups, regular checks of checkout and payments, fixes, and a set of small changes each month.
How much does ecommerce maintenance cost?
Our plans start at $450 a month, priced on the platform and how much changes each month. You can stop whenever you like: there's no lock-in.
Does a Shopify store need maintenance?
Less than a self-hosted store, because Shopify runs the hosting and security. But themes, apps and tracking still need looking after. For example, Shopify ended script tags on the Thank you and Order status pages on 28 August 2025 for Plus stores and 26 August 2026 for other plans, so tracking that relied on them stopped.
What PHP version should a WooCommerce store run?
WooCommerce's current server requirements ask for PHP 8.3 or later, tested up to PHP 8.4, with WordPress 6.9 or later and MySQL 8.0 or MariaDB 10.6 or later. PHP 8.2's security support ends on 31 December 2026 and 8.3's on 31 December 2027.
Our Magento version is out of support. Can a plan help?
Yes. The first month would plan the upgrade against Adobe's lifecycle dates, and the plan keeps patches and future upgrades on schedule after that. A large upgrade may be quoted as a separate project.
Can we cancel?
Yes, any time. Maintenance plans have no lock-in, and you keep full access to the store and the code throughout.
Do you maintain stores you didn't build?
Yes. That's why every plan starts with an audit: we find out what the store runs on and what's overdue before taking it on.
What happens on the strategy call?
Thirty minutes on what your store runs on and what keeps going wrong, and what a plan would cover.
A store that keeps working.
30 minutes. We'll look at what your store runs on and what's overdue, and tell you what a plan would cover and cost. Pick a time.
