Electrician SEO services Most electricians look alike.
Give Google a reason to pick you.

Search for an electrician in most towns and you'll find a dozen near-identical sites: a list of services, a phone number and a stock photo of a fuse box. Google has little to choose between them, and neither do customers. We give both something to choose: a page for each job you want, proof you're qualified, and reviews that talk about the work.

Some searches need you now.
Others need you trusted.

An electrician gets urgent searches, such as a power cut, a breaker that won't reset or a burning smell, and planned ones, such as a rewire, a new panel, an EV charger or a landlord inspection. Urgent searches are won on speed and distance; planned ones on proof. Each gets its own page.

Emergencies

Speed and distance

Pages for power cuts, tripping circuits and burning smells, built for a phone, with your number, hours and areas at the top.

Upgrades & Rewires

The bigger tickets

Pages for rewires, panel and consumer unit upgrades and lighting, with timelines, how much disruption to expect, and photos of your own work.

EV Chargers

Planned and researched

A page for home and workplace charger installs: the chargers you fit, what a survey covers and what changes the price.

Inspections & Testing

Landlords and businesses

Pages for safety inspections and certificates, the work property managers and businesses book on a schedule.

You're qualified.
Does your website show it?

Most electrician sites we see list every service in one paragraph and leave out what customers check before they call: registrations, insurance, guarantees and real photos. This is what usually holds them back.

What costs electricians the call

  • Every service squeezed into one paragraph
  • Registrations and licenses not shown
  • No page for EV chargers or inspections
  • Stock photos instead of your own work
  • A profile with a home address showing
  • Calls from search never tracked

What we build instead

  • A page for each job you want more of
  • Licenses, registrations and insurance up front
  • EV charger and inspection pages for planned work
  • Photos of your own installs and boards
  • A service-area profile with the address hidden
  • Calls and booked jobs from search counted

They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.

It depends on the jobs and towns you want to rank for. A sole trader doing domestic work in one area needs fewer pages than a contractor covering commercial work, EV chargers and inspections across a county. You'll have a written quote within a day of the call.

We get asked these every week.

Have you worked with electricians?

We don't have an electrician case study published, so we won't quote results for one. The plan on this page is what you'd get, and the call is the place to test it.

What should an electrician's website show?

What customers check before they call: your license or scheme registration, insurance, any guarantee on your work, photos of real jobs and reviews that mention the work. Then a clear page for each job, with the number at the top.

Does registration or licensing matter for SEO?

Not as a ranking factor we know of, but it matters to customers. Most US states require electricians to pass a test and be licensed, and the rules vary by state. In England, work such as a new circuit or a consumer unit replacement falls under Part P of the Building Regulations, and electricians registered with a competent person scheme can self-certify it. Show what you hold where people decide.

Should we have a page for EV charger installs?

If you fit them, yes. People planning a charger research it before they call, and a page covering the chargers you install, what a survey involves and what changes the price answers that research. We don't publish grant or tax credit claims unless they're current and checked.

How do electricians get into the map pack?

Relevance, distance and prominence decide it. A service-area profile with the address hidden, the right categories and services, regular genuine reviews, and site pages for each job and town give Google the evidence it needs.

Should electricians use Local Services Ads?

Often, alongside SEO. Electricians is a Local Services Ads category in the US and the UK, paid per lead. In the US it's treated as an urgent category, so Google runs background checks on the people who do the work too. In the UK, poor leads aren't refunded automatically.

How much does SEO for electricians cost?

SEO retainers run $500-$2,000 a month with no contract, and entry plans start at $500. Prefer a one-off look first? Our SEO audit costs $500.
