Medical website design for clinics & practices
Patients check you out
before they book.
A patient who has found your clinic reads about the doctor, the service, the fee and the next available appointment before deciding. A medical website has to answer those questions clearly, keep patient information out of places it shouldn't go, and meet your regulator's rules. We design and build sites for private practices and clinics that do all three.
What does a patient check
before booking?
Private patients are choosing a clinician as much as a clinic. They read profiles, look for fees and want to know how soon they can be seen. Referrers and insurers check different things again. The site should make each of those answers easy to find.
One page per service
Each consultation, test, scan or treatment gets its own page: who it's for, what happens, how long it takes, the fee where you publish it, and how to book.
The person behind the service
Qualifications, registration and special interests for each clinician, written accurately and kept current, because many patients choose the doctor before the clinic.
Appointments without phone tag
Online booking where your practice system supports it, or a short request form that reaches reception quickly, with tap-to-call on every page.
Forms and tracking done carefully
Forms that ask only what reception needs. Analytics kept off patient portals and logged-in areas, and ad pixels reviewed against Meta's and Google's health rules.
Your website describes the clinic.
It doesn't book the appointment.
The clinic sites we see most often were built to look reassuring and then left alone. The services list is long, the doctors' pages are out of date, and nobody can say how many appointments the site produced. Here's what's usually going wrong, and what we build instead.
What's costing you patients
- A single services page that lists everything and explains nothing
- Clinician profiles that are missing, thin or months out of date
- Fees nowhere on the site, so price-conscious patients ring other clinics first
- Contact forms that invite patients to describe symptoms and history
- Analytics and ad pixels running on patient portal and logged-in pages
- A CQC rating missing from the website weeks after it was published
- Pages a screen reader or keyboard user can't get through
- No record of which bookings came from the website
What we build instead
- A page for each service, with what happens, how long it takes and how to book
- Accurate clinician profiles with qualifications and registration
- Fees or starting prices where you're comfortable publishing them
- Forms that collect a name, contact details and the service, nothing clinical
- Tracking kept off logged-in and patient-specific pages
- Your CQC rating shown with the CQC's own widget, where your service has one
- Accessibility designed in from the first sketch, with WCAG as the guide
- Calls, forms and booking requests tracked from launch
The founders we work with.
Here's what founders say after working with us - unfiltered.
NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.
Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.
They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.
Six systems.
One site that fills the diary.
This is the order we build every clinic site in. The service list and the privacy plan come first, because the design depends on both.
Pricing, scoped to you.
Priced on the clinic. A single consultant's site and a multi-service clinic with a dozen clinicians are a different amount of writing and checking, so we price it once we have seen your service list.
- Fixed project price, agreed in writing before we start
- 50% to begin, balance on delivery
- Scoped to your services, clinicians and booking system
- You own the site, the content and the accounts

NCMborz vs. the alternatives
Clinics usually choose between these three routes. Here's how they compare where patient trust and privacy are concerned.
Here's exactly what you get.
No mystery. Each stage ends with something delivered, and your clinicians see their own pages before anyone else does.
Strategy call
Thirty minutes on your services, clinicians, booking system and the patients you want more of. We ask for site and analytics access within a day.
Audit & privacy plan
Current site reviewed on a phone and with a keyboard, existing rankings listed, and every form and tracking script mapped.
Build on staging
Service pages and clinician profiles built on a private link and checked by the clinicians named on them.
Launch & verify
Redirects checked, booking and forms tested end to end, tracking confirmed on public pages, and the team trained to edit.

Have you built websites for medical practices before?
Not as published work: none of our case studies is a medical practice or clinic, and we won't imply one. What we can show you is the build process on this page, and you can question any part of it on the call.
Does our CQC rating have to be on the website?
If your service has a CQC rating, yes. The CQC says rated providers must display it on websites where they describe the service, clearly and conspicuously, within 21 calendar days of the rating being published, and it provides a widget for this. A service that hasn't been inspected yet has no rating to show.
Do medical websites have to follow HIPAA?
HIPAA covers the health information a practice handles, so forms and tracking are what matter on a website. A Texas federal court vacated part of HHS's guidance on online tracking in June 2024, the part about public pages, but tracking behind a patient login is still covered, and Google offers no business associate agreement for Google Analytics. We keep forms minimal and tracking off logged-in pages. Your compliance adviser has the final word.
Does our website need to be accessible?
In the US, the Justice Department's 2022 guidance says the ADA applies to what businesses open to the public offer online, and it lists hospitals and medical offices among them. It points to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as helpful guidance. We design to WCAG from the start, which costs far less than fixing a finished site.
Can we use Meta and Google tracking on a clinic website?
Carefully. Meta can restrict data from health sites, removing URL details or blocking some events, and Google treats health as a sensitive category, so its ads can't use Customer Match or your own data segments. We set tracking up with those limits in mind, on public pages only.
Can patients book online?
Yes, where your practice management system offers online booking we connect it. Otherwise a short appointment request goes to reception, and the phone number is one tap away on every page.
Should a clinic website show fees?
Usually, at least for self-pay services. Patients compare clinics on price as well as availability, and a starting fee or range beats silence. In the UK the CAP Code expects health claims to be backed by evidence, so service descriptions stay factual.
How much does a medical website cost?
Clinic sites start at $1,200. Across all our website projects, most land between $1,200 and $15,000, and the price is fixed before we start. The number of services, clinicians and locations, and the booking integration, decide where a clinic sits in that range.
Will a new site lose our current Google rankings?
It shouldn't. We record what ranks today, keep good URLs, redirect the rest page by page, and watch Search Console through the launch.
What happens on the strategy call?
Half an hour. We look at your site as a new patient would, check where your forms and tracking send patient information, and give you the build plan and a rough price.
Turn visitors into booked appointments.
30 minutes. We'll follow a new patient through your site on a phone, check where your forms and tracking send patient information, and tell you what we'd change first. Pick a time.
