Shopify plus agency
Plus costs more.
Make sure it earns it.
Shopify Plus starts at $2,300 a month on a three-year term, before any revenue-based platform fee. It's worth it when you use what it adds: a customizable checkout, B2B at scale, and up to nine extra stores for new markets. We build on Plus, move brands onto it, and tell you plainly when the standard plans would do.
Why are you
on Plus?
Brands move to Plus for different reasons: a checkout they need to control, wholesale customers on their own price lists, or new countries on their own storefronts. Each needs different work, and some don't need Plus at all.
The one page only Plus can change
Shopify reserves advanced checkout customization for Plus, including apps on the information, shipping and payment steps. We build those customizations and move old checkout.liquid work onto the supported system.
Wholesale without a second store
B2B runs on every plan from Basic up, but Plus removes the cap of three active catalog assignments and adds company-specific catalogs, deposits and partial payments.
New markets, separate storefronts
Plus includes up to nine expansion stores. We set them up when a market genuinely needs its own catalog, content or pricing, and keep them in one market setup when it doesn't.
Does Plus pay for itself?
Plus costs $2,500 a month on a one-year term or $2,300 on three years, and Shopify may add a variable platform fee. We cost what you'd use against that before anything moves.
You're paying for Plus.
Are you using it?
The Plus stores we review tend to fall into two groups: brands paying for features they never set up, and brands that set up checkout years ago on a system Shopify has since retired. Here's what we usually find, and what we do instead.
What we usually find
- A Plus subscription with no checkout customization, B2B or expansion store in use
- Checkout tweaks built on checkout.liquid, which stopped working on in-checkout pages in August 2024
- Order status page scripts that went silent when Shopify retired them
- Wholesale run from a second store with duplicated products and stock
- Expansion stores opened for markets one store with local pricing could handle
- A migration to Plus planned around products, with redirects left to the last week
- Nobody able to say what the variable platform fee will be at next year's revenue
What we do instead
- A list of the Plus features you'd actually use, costed against the fee
- Checkout customizations rebuilt on Shopify's supported checkout apps
- Tracking on the Thank you and Order status pages moved to supported methods
- B2B catalogs and company pricing in the main store, where Plus allows it
- Expansion stores only where a market needs its own catalog or content
- Redirects mapped first: Plus allows up to 20 million
- A plan that still works if you ever step back down to Advanced
The founders we work with.
Here's what founders say after working with us - unfiltered.
They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.
Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.
NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.
Six systems.
One store that earns the plan.
This is the order we work in on every Plus engagement, whether you're moving onto Plus, already there, or deciding whether to stay.
Pricing, scoped to you.
Priced on the work, not the plan. A checkout rebuild, a B2B setup and a full move to Plus from another platform are different projects, and we quote each one on the call.
- Fixed project price, agreed in writing before we start
- 50% to begin, balance on delivery
- Scoped to the Plus features you'll use
- You own the store, the theme and the code
ALL PRICES IN USD · MAINTENANCE PLANS FROM $450/MO

What we have written on purchase tracking on Shopify.
We get asked these every week.
How much does Shopify Plus cost?
Shopify's help center lists $2,500 a month on a one-year term and $2,300 a month on a three-year term, and says a variable platform fee based on revenue and business model may apply. Prices are subject to change, so confirm with Shopify before you sign.
What does Shopify Plus add over Advanced?
Advanced checkout customization, including apps on the information, shipping and payment pages, up to nine expansion stores, unlimited B2B catalog assignments with company-specific catalogs, deposits and partial payments, and room for 20 million URL redirects instead of 100,000.
Do we need Plus to sell B2B on Shopify?
Not necessarily. B2B is available on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus. The standard plans cap you at three active catalog assignments across B2B markets, and some features, such as company-specific catalogs and deposits, are Plus only.
Our checkout.liquid customizations stopped working. What now?
Shopify ended checkout.liquid for the in-checkout pages on 13 August 2024, and for the Thank you and Order status pages in August 2025. The replacement is its checkout apps system. We rebuild the customizations there and move tracking to supported methods.
How many stores can we run on Plus?
Shopify says Plus supports up to nine expansion stores alongside your main store. Many brands need fewer than they think: one store with local markets often does the job until a country needs its own catalog or content.
Can you move us to Plus from another platform?
Yes. Shopify's own migration app covers products and customers from platforms such as WooCommerce, Wix and Square, but not BigCommerce or Magento, so those moves need other tools. Either way, redirects are planned before anything moves.
What does a Shopify Plus project cost with you?
Fixed, and agreed before work starts: from $1,200, with most of our store projects between $1,200 and $15,000. A checkout rebuild costs less than a full move to Plus with B2B and several markets.
Should we leave Plus?
Sometimes, yes. If you use no checkout customization, no expansion stores and little B2B, Advanced may do the same job for far less. We'll run the numbers with you rather than assume either way.
What happens on the strategy call?
Half an hour. We list what you'd use on Plus, set it against the fee, and tell you what we'd build first and roughly what it would cost.
Make Plus pay for itself.
30 minutes. We'll go through what you'd actually use on Shopify Plus, what it would cost you, and what we'd build first. Pick a time.
