Squarespace & wix website designer A site you can edit yourself,
built to look professional.

Squarespace and Wix suit a business that wants to change its own pages without a developer. The problem is rarely the platform. It's a template filled in over a weekend: words about the business rather than the customer, no clear next step, and nothing tracked. We design and build Squarespace and Wix sites in your own account, then show you how to run them.

Book a strategy call 30 min · No pressure, no pitch - just a straight look at your current site, and whether Squarespace, Wix or something else fits what you need
✓ Fixed price, agreed in writing before we start ✓ Built in your account, on your plan ✓ A walkthrough so you can edit it yourself

Is Squarespace or Wix
right for you?

Both are hosted platforms: the company runs the servers, the security and the updates, and you edit pages in a visual editor. That suits most service businesses and small stores. It suits less well a site that needs heavy custom features, or one that may need to move to another host one day.

Custom Design

Not another template

A design and page structure built for your business with the platform's own sections and styles, so it stays editable in the normal editor rather than locked behind custom code.

Copy & Structure

Words written for the customer

A page for each thing you sell, written around what the customer wants to know, with one clear next step on every page.

Booking & Forms

Using what the platform offers

Appointments, forms, email signup and simple stores set up with the platform's built-in tools first, and add-ons only where they earn their place.

SEO & Tracking

Set up before launch

Page titles, descriptions, URLs and redirects set in the platform's SEO settings, and analytics and conversion tracking connected so you can see what the site produces.

The platform is fine.
The setup isn't.

Most Squarespace and Wix sites we see were built quickly by someone busy running the business. They look acceptable and do very little. Here's what's usually holding them back, and what a professional build on the same platform looks like.

What holds a DIY site back

  • A template's demo layout kept, with your words squeezed into it
  • Copy about the business, not about what the customer wants
  • No clear next step, or five competing ones on the same page
  • Page titles and descriptions left at the platform's defaults
  • Old pages deleted instead of redirected when the site changed
  • Heavy images and too many sections slowing pages on a phone
  • Forms that send enquiries to an inbox nobody checks
  • No tracking, so nobody knows which pages bring enquiries

What we build instead

  • A layout designed around your pages, not the template's demo
  • Copy written around the customer's questions
  • One clear action per page, repeated where it helps
  • Titles, descriptions and URLs set page by page
  • Redirects set up for any page that moves
  • Images sized and sections trimmed for phones
  • Forms routed to the right person, and tested before launch
  • Analytics and conversion tracking connected and tested

NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.

Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.

They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.

Six systems.
One site you can run.

This is the order we build every Squarespace and Wix site in. The platform decision comes first, because the right answer isn't always one of these two.

01 / 06
Platform Fit
We check what the site needs to do against what Squarespace and Wix do well. If WordPress, Shopify or a custom build would serve you better, we say so before you pay for anything.
Week 1
02 / 06
Page Plan & Copy
A page list built around what you sell, then copy written for your customers, with one next step per page.
Week 1-2
03 / 06
Design in the Platform
A custom design built with the platform's own sections and styles, so you can edit any page in the normal editor without breaking it.
Week 2
04 / 06
Booking, Forms & Store
Scheduling, forms, email signup or a simple store set up with built-in tools first, and add-ons only where they're needed.
Week 2-3
05 / 06
SEO, Speed & Tracking
Page titles, descriptions, URLs and redirects set, images sized for phones, and analytics and conversion tracking connected and tested.
Week 3

Launch & Walkthrough
Domain connected, everything tested on real phones, and a walkthrough so your team can edit pages, add posts and update details.
Week 3-4

Pricing, scoped to you.

Priced on the site. A five-page service site and a site with booking, a blog and a small store take different amounts of time, so the quote follows the call. Your Squarespace or Wix plan is billed by the platform, in your name.

We get asked these every week.

Do you build on Squarespace and Wix?

Yes, as well as WordPress, Shopify and custom code. We build in your own Squarespace or Wix account, on the plan you choose, so the site and its content stay in your name.

Squarespace or Wix: which is better?

Neither, in general. Both are hosted platforms with visual editors and built-in booking, forms and stores. The better one is the one whose tools fit what your site needs, and which you or your team find easier to edit. We'll recommend one on the call, or tell you if neither fits.

Can I move a Wix site to another host later?

No. Wix says its sites have to be hosted and operated on Wix's servers, and that its architecture doesn't support external hosting. You can move your domain, but not the site itself. If you might need to change host one day, that's a reason to consider another platform.

Can I export a Squarespace site?

Only partly. Squarespace exports some content, such as standard pages, text and image blocks and one blog, to a WordPress-format file. Style settings, custom CSS, product, audio and video blocks and store pages don't export. Plan for a rebuild if you ever leave.

Do I own a Squarespace or Wix site you build?

You own the account, the domain and everything you put on the site: words, images and products. The platform owns the software it runs on, which is why the design can't move to another host.

What do Squarespace and Wix cost to run?

The Core plans on both are $29 a month billed yearly, before any add-ons, and Squarespace's Core plan is $39 billed monthly. Those fees go to the platform in your name; our build is a one-off fixed price.

How much does a Squarespace or Wix website cost to build?

Builds start at $1,200 and most of our projects come in between $1,200 and $15,000, fixed up front. The number of pages, the features and any store decide where a site sits in that range.

Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding it?

Often, yes. If the platform suits you and the structure is sound, rewriting key pages, fixing SEO settings and setting up tracking can be enough. We'll tell you on the call whether a fix or a rebuild makes more sense.

Can a Squarespace or Wix site rank on Google?

Yes. Both let you set page titles, descriptions, URLs and redirects, and both produce a sitemap. Ranking depends far more on the pages you publish and how useful they are than on the platform.

What happens on the strategy call?

Half an hour. We look at your current site, ask what it needs to do, and tell you which platform fits and what we'd build. If a DIY template would do the job, we'll tell you that too.

A site you can run yourself.

30 minutes. We'll look at your current site, tell you whether Squarespace, Wix or another platform fits, and what we'd build and roughly what it would cost. Pick a time.

We'll email within one business day to confirm your call. No spam, no obligation.
