Facebook ads for home services & contractors
Leads go cold fast.
Jobs are the goal.
A homeowner with a leaking roof or a dead boiler fills in two or three forms and books whoever answers first. Cheap leads that sit in an inbox overnight are money spent on someone else's job. We build Facebook ads for home service businesses around booked estimates, set them up within Meta's rules for repair ads, and make sure every lead reaches you while the homeowner is still looking.
Where do you actually
want to drive?
A contractor sells to the jobs worth the drive, not to a whole metro area. Most underperforming home service accounts pay to reach people outside the area they want to work in, chase the cheapest form fill, and send leads into an inbox nobody checks until the evening. Fix the area, the conversion event and the follow-up, and the same budget books different jobs.
The jobs worth the drive
We map the towns and neighborhoods you want work in, and where your best past jobs came from, before drawing anything. Where repair ads have to run in Meta's housing category, ZIP targeting is off the table, so we plan around city and radius options and let the ads themselves say where you work.
Optimized to the booking
An instant form that only collects a name trains Meta to find people who fill in forms. We ask the questions that tell a real job from a tire-kicker, wire booked estimates as the conversion event where your system allows it, and judge the account on cost per booked job.
Answered while they're still looking
Homeowners contact more than one company and book whoever responds first. Every lead is routed to your phone or CRM the moment it arrives, so the first reply goes out in minutes, not the next morning. For automatic first replies in seconds, see our lead follow-up build note.
Your crew, not stock photos
Before-and-after photos, a quick walkthrough of a finished job, your van and your team. People are deciding who to let into their home, and real work from real crews does that job better than stock images of a smiling technician.
Your leads aren't broken.
Your follow-up is.
Most home service owners we talk to say the same thing: Facebook brings leads, but the leads don't book. In this category the cause is usually the form, the follow-up or the targeting, rarely the ads alone. Here's what's usually happening - and what a properly built account does instead.
What's draining your budget
- Instant forms that ask for a name and nothing else, so anyone can fill them in
- Leads emailed to an inbox nobody checks until the end of the day
- Repair ads run outside Meta's housing category, then rejected or restricted
- A circle around the office that reaches people you would never drive to
- Stock photos that could be any contractor in any city
- One campaign for every service, so a gutter clean and a new roof bid the same
- Financing offers mixed into normal ads without the category Meta requires
- Reported on cost per lead, so the account looks better the worse the leads get
What we install instead
- Forms that ask the questions that separate real jobs from browsers
- Leads routed to your phone or CRM the moment they arrive
- Repair ads set up in the housing category from the start, where Meta requires it
- A service area built around the towns you want work in
- Before-and-after photos and short videos from your own jobs
- High-value services separated, so a new roof is never bid like a repair call
- Financing ads run under the financial products category in the US
- Reported on cost per booked estimate and cost per booked job
The founders we work with.
Here's what founders say after working with us - unfiltered.
Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.
NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.
They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.
Six systems.
One full build.
This is the build order for every home service account we take on, from a single-van operator to a business with several crews. The order matters: the follow-up has to work before more leads are worth buying.
Pricing, scoped to you.
No fixed packages. We scope the work to your services, your service area and your ad spend, then quote it on the call. A one-van operator and a multi-crew business are different jobs.
- Month-to-month · No setup fees · No long-term contracts
- Scoped to your services, area and ad spend, not a fixed package
- You keep full ownership of your ad account
ALL PRICES IN USD · MANAGEMENT FEE ONLY, EXCLUDING AD SPEND

Have you run Facebook ads for home service businesses before?
None of our published case studies is a home service business, so we won't show you trades results we can't back up. What we can show is the same system on local booking businesses: two climbing centres, both written up with the numbers, and our own lead follow-up app, which sent the first email to every one of its first 52 Facebook leads with a median time of 10 seconds. The build on this page is that system applied to booked jobs.
Do Facebook ads work for contractors?
They work best for jobs people plan or put off: replacements, upgrades, remodels, seasonal servicing and maintenance plans. For emergencies, homeowners usually search, so Google usually comes first for a burst pipe at midnight. Many contractors end up with both: search for urgent work, Facebook for the bigger jobs homeowners are thinking about.
What is Meta's housing category, and does it apply to us?
Meta counts ads for housing repairs as housing ads. In the US, Canada, the UK and much of Europe, those ads run with ages fixed at 18 to 65+, every gender included, no ZIP or postal code targeting, and no lookalike audiences, saved audiences or exclusions. A city, address or pin gets an expanded radius: 15 miles in the US and Canada, 10 miles in the UK. Whether a given ad falls in the category depends on what it promotes, so we decide it ad by ad before launch rather than wait for rejections.
We offer financing. Does that change anything?
Yes. In the US, Meta has required ads that promote financial products and services, including credit, to use their own special ad category since January 21, 2025. We keep financing offers in their own ads under that category, so a rejection there never stops your main campaigns.
What does a Facebook lead cost for home services?
LocalIQ's 2026 benchmarks put the average Facebook lead in home and home improvement at $42.95, against $27.39 across all industries, at about $2.18 a click. Your own number depends on the service, the area and the offer. The figure that matters is cost per booked job, which is why we track bookings rather than stopping at the lead.
Our leads don't answer the phone. Why?
Usually because the reply came too late or the form made it too easy to submit. In a 2011 Harvard Business Review study of 2,241 US companies, firms that tried to contact a lead within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify it as firms that waited longer. More than half of the first 52 leads our own follow-up app handled arrived outside weekday office hours, so a follow-up that waits for the morning loses many of them.
Should we use instant forms or send people to our website?
Instant forms bring more leads at a lower cost; a landing page usually brings fewer, better ones. For high-value work like roofs and remodels we often start with a form that asks qualifying questions, then test a landing page against it and compare cost per booked job, not cost per lead.
How far around our office should we advertise?
As far as the jobs worth taking, and no further. Where repair ads run in the housing category, Meta widens city and pin-drop areas, so the ads themselves have to say clearly where you work. We look at where your best jobs came from before drawing anything.
Can you use our own photos and videos?
Yes, and they usually beat anything else. Before-and-after shots, a short walkthrough of a finished job and your team on site do more than stock images. If you don't have them, we'll tell you exactly what to capture on your phone.
We're a small operator. Is this worth it?
It can be, if the jobs are big enough. The honest constraint is spend: if your ad budget is too small to produce enough booked jobs to learn from, the management fee eats too much of it, and we'll say that on the call rather than take the work.
How do you report?
Cost per lead, cost per booked estimate and, where you share it, cost per booked job. Impressions and clicks are in the report if you want them, but the account is steered by bookings.
What happens on the strategy call?
30 minutes. We look at your account, your service area and your lead follow-up, then tell you what we would change and roughly what it would cost. If we're a fit, we scope it. If not, no hard feelings - no follow-up sequence, no pressure.
Book jobs, not just leads.
30 minutes. We'll look at your account, your service area and what happens to a lead after it arrives, then tell you whether the problem is the targeting, the form or the follow-up, and roughly what a booked job should cost you. Pick a time.
