SEO for contractors & home services Show up when
they search.

When a homeowner searches for a roofer or a plumber, most of the calls go to the map results and the first few websites. Ads rent that spot by the click; SEO earns it and keeps it. We do SEO for contractors and home service businesses: a Business Profile set up the way Google's rules expect, a page for every service and area you want work in, and a review routine that doesn't break Google's policies.

Where do homeowners
find you?

For most trades, the map results take the first calls, then the websites underneath. Both depend on the same things: a Business Profile that follows Google's guidelines, a site with a clear page for each service and area, and a steady flow of genuine reviews. Most contractor sites have one of the three and wonder why the phone is quiet.

Business Profile

Set up as a service-area business

Google's guidelines say a service-area business keeps one profile for its central office with the areas it serves, and that a virtual office isn't eligible. We set it up that way, with the right categories and services, so the profile isn't at risk.

Service & Area Pages

A page for every job you want

Separate pages for roof repair, replacement, AC installation or drain cleaning, and for the towns you cover, each written to answer what homeowners ask, not stuffed with town names.

Review Routine

More reviews, inside the rules

A simple routine to ask every customer after the job. Google's policy bans incentives for reviews and asking only happy customers, so we set it up to ask everyone.

Call Tracking

Rankings tied to jobs

Calls and forms from organic search and the map tracked separately from ads, so you can see which pages and searches bring booked work.

Your rankings aren't broken.
Your foundation is.

Most contractors we talk to have paid for SEO before and can't point to a single job it brought in. The cause is usually the foundation, not the effort. Here's what's usually happening, and what a properly built home services setup does instead.

What's draining your budget

  • A Business Profile with a virtual office or a keyword-stuffed name
  • One services page listing everything, so no single service ranks
  • Dozens of near-identical town pages with the city name swapped
  • Reviews offered a discount, or requested only from happy customers
  • Reports on rankings for searches nobody makes
  • Calls from the map and the website never tracked

What we install instead

  • A profile that follows Google's guidelines for service-area businesses
  • A page for each money service, written for the homeowner
  • Area pages only where you genuinely work, each with something local to say
  • A review routine that asks every customer, as Google's policy requires
  • Reporting on calls and booked jobs from organic search
  • Content and accounts kept in your name

Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.

They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.

Six systems.
One full build.

This is the order we work in for every home services site. The profile and the tracking come first, because they're the quickest wins and the way to prove the rest.

We get asked these every week.

Have you done SEO for contractors before?

Not as published work: none of our case studies is a home services business, and we won't put trades results on this page that we can't show you. What we can show you is the method on this page and two published local case studies, which are Meta ads work rather than SEO. You can judge it on the call.

How long does SEO take for a contractor?

The Business Profile and technical fixes often move first, within the first month or two. Service and area pages usually take three to six months to bring steady calls, depending on how competitive your trade and town are.

Do we need a page for every town?

Only for the towns you genuinely work in and can say something useful about. Dozens of near-identical town pages rarely rank and can drag the rest of the site down. A few strong pages beat many thin ones.

Can we use a virtual office to show up in another town?

No. Google's guidelines say a virtual office isn't eligible for a Business Profile. A service-area business keeps one profile for its central office and lists the areas it serves.

How should we get more reviews?

Ask every customer after every job, with a direct link. Google's policy bans offering anything in return for a review and asking only the customers you think are happy, so the routine has to cover everyone.

SEO or Local Services Ads?

Both do different jobs. Local Services Ads put you in front of people searching right now and charge per lead. SEO builds the profile and pages that keep bringing calls without paying per lead. Many contractors run ads while SEO builds.

How much does contractor SEO cost?

Our SEO runs $500-$2,000 a month, month-to-month. A single trade in one town sits at the lower end; several services across a region needs more. A one-off $500 audit is available if you want the findings first.

Who owns the content and accounts?

You do. Every page and article we write is yours, and Google Search Console, Analytics and your Business Profile stay in your name, with us given access. If you ever move on, everything stays where it is.

What happens on the strategy call?

Thirty minutes. We look at your Business Profile, your site and where you show up for the jobs you want, then tell you the first three things we'd change and roughly what it would cost.

Get found for the jobs you want.

30 minutes. We'll look at where you show up today, your Business Profile and your site, then tell you which searches could be bringing you jobs and what it would take. Pick a time.
