Google Ads lead quality for coaches
Fewer fake bookings.
More calls that close.
Fake and unqualified bookings from Google Ads usually come from three places: junk traffic the account never switched off, a calendar anyone can book without answering a question, and bidding that optimizes toward whoever fills in a form fastest. We close all three - tighter targeting, a qualification questionnaire before the calendar, and tracking that follows every call through to a sale.
Why your calendar fills
with the wrong people.
A booked call that turns out to be a bot, a fake email, a student, or someone who can't afford the program costs you more than the click. It costs you an hour you could have spent with a paying client. These are the four places those bookings come from, and what we do about each.
Fake bookings start with the network
Search Partners, Display expansion and Performance Max placements are the usual source of bot and click-farm form fills. We run Search on Google itself, block the placements that produce junk, and add spam checks to the form so a fake submission never reaches your calendar.
Students, job-seekers and bargain hunters
For every person looking to hire a coach, several are looking to become one, and more want something for free. Negatives for certification, training, jobs, salary, "free" and "cheap" are reviewed every week, because this category generates new junk searches continuously.
Questions before the calendar
A short questionnaire sits between the ad and your booking page: what they want to change, their timeline, and whether they're ready to invest at your level. Qualified answers go straight to the calendar. Everyone else gets a useful next step instead of a slot in your week.
From click to signed client
The click ID is saved with every application and sent back to Google as each stage happens - qualified, call held, sale - with the sale value attached. Google stops optimizing toward whoever books fastest and starts finding people who look like your paying clients.
Your ads aren't broken.
Your booking path is.
Most coaches we speak to describe the same thing: "the calendar is full, but half the calls are fake, and most of the rest can't afford the program." That is rarely a copy problem. It's a targeting, qualification and tracking problem, and every part of it is fixable. Here's what's happening, and what a properly built coaching account does instead.
What's draining your budget
- Search Partners, Display expansion or Performance Max left on, sending bot and click-farm traffic
- A booking form with no spam checks, so fake names and dead emails land in the calendar
- Anyone can book a call without answering a single question
- No negatives for certification, training, jobs, "free" or "cheap"
- Ad copy that never says who the program is for, so everyone clicks
- Optimized to form fills, so Google hunts for the cheapest bookings, not buyers
- A $5,000 program sold weeks later that Google never hears about
- Cost per lead reported, cost per qualified call and cost per sale never calculated
What we install instead
- Search on Google only, with Search Partners, Display and junk placements switched off
- Spam checks and contact validation on the form, before anything reaches your calendar
- A short qualification questionnaire in front of the calendar
- Negatives for training, certification, careers and freebie searches, reviewed weekly
- Ad copy that qualifies up front - who it's for, and that it's a real investment
- Bidding trained on qualified calls and sales, not raw bookings
- Click IDs saved with every application and each stage imported back into Google
- Reporting on cost per qualified call, cost per sale and return on ad spend
The founders we work with.
Here's what founders say after working with us - unfiltered.
NCMborz rebuilt our site, then unleashed focused Meta and Google ads that filled coaching calendars fast. Branding, traffic, engagement, revenue - every dot now connects and we speak to ideal students. They made bold decisions feel easy with calm, data-backed reasoning.
Our old site was clunky and our ads were bleeding cash. Their team stepped in, rebuilt everything, and suddenly shoppers could buy without any fuss. They explain the numbers in plain language and always lay out the next move. First agency that's truly felt like part of our crew.
They built our Shopify store from sketch to polish, and the ads keep bringing in people who actually appreciate the product. Fast, thoughtful, no guessing games. For a brand that sweats the small stuff, having a partner who gets that is a big deal.
Six systems.
Clean bookings.
This is the order we fix lead quality in, whether the account launched last month or has run for years. Each step makes the next one easier to measure, so skipping ahead only hides the problem.

- Month-to-month · No setup fees · No long-term contracts
- Scoped to your account, booking flow and ad spend – not a fixed package

NCMborz vs. the alternatives
You've got options. Here's how we stack up against what most coaches try first.
Here's exactly what you get.
No mystery, no "we'll get back to you." Every stage below ends with something delivered to your inbox - though a high-ticket sales cycle means the sales numbers take longer than the first calls.
Strategy call & access
A 30-minute call about your offer, your recent bookings and where they're going wrong. Access to Google Ads, your booking tool and your CRM requested within 24 hours.
Booking-quality audit
We match your recent bookings against the searches, placements and form data behind them, as far as your current tracking allows, and estimate how many were fake, unqualified or never going to buy. Break-even cost per qualified call and per sale calculated from your real numbers.
Fix & relaunch
Junk sources switched off, intent-mapped keywords and negatives live, the qualification questionnaire in front of your calendar, and click IDs flowing into your CRM. Daily monitoring and weekly search-term review.
Optimize & report
By week three you'll see cost per qualified call next to raw bookings, and a first read on cost per sale. If your sales cycle runs longer than a month, we'll say so rather than present an incomplete number as settled.

Why are we getting fake bookings from Google Ads?
Usually because the campaign is showing somewhere other than Google Search. Search Partners, Display expansion and Performance Max placements are the common sources of bot and click-farm traffic, and a booking form with no spam checks lets those submissions straight through to your calendar. Switching those networks off, adding bot and contact checks to the form, and reviewing placement and invalid-click reports removes most of it. Those fixes take days to put in place, not months.
How do we stop unqualified people booking calls?
Qualify twice: in the ad, and again before the calendar. The ad says who the program is for and that it's a real investment, so bargain hunters don't click. A short questionnaire then asks about their goal, their timeline and whether they're ready to invest at your level, and only qualified answers reach your calendar. Negatives for training, certification, jobs, "free" and "cheap" searches keep most of the rest from ever seeing the ad.
What should a qualification questionnaire ask?
Four to six questions, roughly in this order: what they want to change, why now, what they've already tried, when they want to start, and whether they're prepared to invest at your program's level. Asking about investment readiness as a range or a yes/no, rather than demanding a budget figure, keeps good applicants moving. We write the questions with you and tune them once we can see who passes and who buys.
Won't a questionnaire cut our number of bookings?
Yes, and that's the point. Fewer, better calls usually mean more sales per hour of your time. What we watch is cost per sale, not the booking count. If the questionnaire is too strict and good applicants drop out, we loosen it - the tracking shows exactly where people leave.
How do you track a Google Ads click through to an actual sale?
Google attaches a click ID to every ad click. We save it with the application and store it in your CRM next to the contact. When that person is qualified, has their call, or buys, that stage is sent back to Google with the sale value attached, through offline conversion import or enhanced conversions for leads. You then see cost per qualified call, cost per sale and return on ad spend by campaign and keyword, not just cost per lead.
Why does Google keep finding the wrong people?
Because it's doing what the account told it to do. If the conversion it optimizes toward is "booked a call", it finds the cheapest people who book calls, and in coaching those are rarely the people who can pay. Once qualified calls and sales are imported back with values, bidding shifts toward the searches and people that resemble your actual clients.
Can we target a specific kind of client, like women over 45?
Partly. On Search the main lever is the words people type, not who they are, so most of the targeting lives in your keywords, your ad copy and the questionnaire. Age and other demographic adjustments are available on Search where Google allows them, and we use them. But an ad that speaks directly to the person you serve, and a questionnaire that confirms it, does more than any demographic setting.
How can we tell how many of our bookings are fake?
Take the last 30 to 60 days of bookings and mark each one as qualified, real but unqualified, or fake. Bounced emails, invalid phone numbers, gibberish names and bursts of submissions within minutes are the usual giveaways. If your form doesn't record where each booking came from, start saving the click ID now; within a few weeks every new booking can be traced to the campaign and search behind it.
Can you fix lead quality without rebuilding the whole account?
Usually, yes. Network settings, form checks, negatives and the questionnaire can all go into your existing account and booking flow. A rebuild is only worth it when the structure itself is the problem, such as one campaign bidding on everything at the same price, and we'll tell you which it is after the audit.
Do you work with our existing booking tool and CRM?
In most cases. What matters is that the booking form can hold a hidden field for the click ID, that it passes it into your CRM, and that the CRM records when someone qualifies, has a call and buys. If yours can't, we'll recommend the smallest change that makes it possible rather than a new stack.
What if we don't use a CRM?
At low volume a spreadsheet can work, as long as each booking row keeps its click ID and someone updates the outcome after every call. It's manual, but it's enough to import qualified calls and sales back into Google. As volume grows, a simple CRM saves the admin.
How quickly will we see better bookings?
Fake bookings should fall as soon as the junk networks are off and the form has spam checks, usually inside the first two weeks. A reliable cost per qualified call takes around 45 days. Cost per sale takes one full sales cycle, and we will not quote a number before we have one.
How is this different from your Google Ads for coaches service?
Same team and the same account work, focused on one problem: bookings that look good in the dashboard and waste your week. If your main issue is reaching the right searches in the first place, rather than what happens after the click, start with our Google Ads for coaches service instead.
When is this not the right fix?
When the offer hasn't sold without ads yet, or when bookings are poor because the program itself isn't clear. Those are offer problems, not Google Ads problems, and cleaner traffic won't solve them. We'll say so on the call rather than take on work that can't move the number.
What happens on the strategy call?
30 minutes. We look at your network settings, your booking form and your tracking, show you where the bad bookings are most likely coming from, and tell you what we would change first. If we're a fit, we talk pricing. If not, you keep the list - no follow-up sequence, no pressure.
